I'd like to do my blog this week on Michael Jackson's famous "Thriller." When I first heard this song, I was a young kid, as I'm sure most of the people who are around my age did as well. It's such a fun song, period. It gives me the chills in the best way, and makes me want to get up and dance! I especially love that there is a dance to "Thriller." I know most of it myself, and it is always so entertaining. I can't explain the feeling, but it's straight-up thrilling (And I did not try to make a joke with that)!
I've always loved Michael Jackson, and "Thriller" is truly a one-of-a-kind song. Honestly, I can't come up with any other song out there that sounds even remotely similar. In my opinion, the song will never get old. Yes, it may play approximately one hundred times in October, but it fits the spirit so well. Not to mention that it has been the world's best selling album for years. And like I said before, "Thriller" is such a dang fun song to dance or party to. And not to mention, M.J.'s "Thriller" outfit is iconic. ;)
Your blog is so so well done and explains my exact opinion on this song. I have always loved this song and I agree with you that it is never going to die. Even if it is constantly on repeat in October. But it is definitely a one of a kind song that should stick around. And I appreciate the comment about Michaels outfit because it is straight facts.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! This song is way fun, I like it a lot. Funny thing is, the first time I heard it I was pretty little and I actually watched the music video with my siblings and it scared us all pretty bad! So for a year or two this song scared me, but obviously I grew out of that and now it's just a bop and it's fun, like you said.
